Luis Vasconcelos Photographer and photojournalist, with a degree in Photohgraphy by AR.CO, Superior School of Arts in Lisbon, Portugal.
40 years of professional photography experience dealing with the hard reality of real life photography, working for a daily newspaper, and as a photographer and photo-edtior in several magazines.

In my work, I love to see, discovering new angles and point of views, for the subjects that I have to photograph.
I love composition, so I try to reate balance and harmony in my work,
As a former photojournalist, I learned photography in a very generic way. I'm a generalist photographer, and so I try to do my best in different kinds of photography,
I love to travel, and when I do it i use my camera as an extension of my body to capture what my eyes discover in the places I visit.
Recently I'm working on experimental macro photography, creating very small still life compositions, where I want to explore the Beauty of seeing closer, and finding new perspectives of the objects, and subjects.
